MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Membership in the Order of the Arrow is open to Scouts and Varsity Scouts who meet the following requirements:

A Nominee for membership must:

1.  Be at least a First Class Scout

2.  Be registered in a Troop or Varsity Team

3.  Have attended 15 days and nights of Scout sponsored camping within the 2 years previous to his election.

4.  Have attended a long term camp as part of the camping in #3 of at least 5 consectutive days and nights.

5.  Have the approval of his Unit Leader that he lives the Scout Oath and Law in his daily life.

6.  Be elected by his Unit.

Membership is conferred upon election AND the completion of the Ordeal.

Units may hold an election 1 time per year.
